For Her: Part 15

Welcome to Part 15 of the series "Dear Future Spouse." These are real people who are writing to their future King and Queen. They do not personally know each other, but they are getting to know each other through the letters. Each week, you will find a response to the letter before. So, grab some coffee, tea, or tissue, and enjoy! Tell us what you think!

Dear Future Wife,

I hope your day is going well. I pray that God is molding you into the woman He and yourself desires you to become and that he continues to guide and direct you in every step of your life’s journey. Thank you for your prayers and love; they truly mean everything to me! In fact, every time I get read your letters, they brighten my day!

I enjoyed hearing your desire to travel. You have definitely been to some beautiful places. I know for a fact that you will have a great time in Jamaica. I got the chance to experience Montego Bay and Ocho Rios; they are fascinating places. Furthermore, I look forward to experiencing traveling the states and world with you and our future children. I’m most looking forward to creating memories that will last the rest of our lives!

Moving forward, thank you for sending me the love language quiz. I’ll get more into that in a second; first, I want to send my condolences to you for the loss of your parents. I can only imagine what it’s like not having them around, but being able to hear your heart and mind in these letters, I know they have done an amazing job raising an intelligent and beautiful young woman. Similarly, I believe we as men should get the doors for our women, and overall treat you like the queens you are. Now, back to my love language, it is Quality Time as well! Along with you, I believe it’s important to spend time together and using that time to grow and learn as much as we can about each other. Finding one another’s funny quirks, creating inside jokes, and building an intimacy will expand beyond just the physical. But with that being said, “Oh Yes! I do love a woman that can rock a nice pair of heels with the shiny cocoa butter smooth legs! Bless it, and Amen!” Lol, let me stop, but it is a beautiful sight to behold.

When it comes to fears towards marriage, I definitely agree that the media does play a big part in publicizing divorces more than celebrating marriages. In like manner, I believe that is one of the many reasons why our generation isn’t rushing to get married so quickly like our predecessors; they fear getting married because they mainly see and hear about failed relationships and marriages. Yet, I believe and desire for our marriage to be a symbol of belief not only to our generation, but to the generation after us. Marriage is still a union of privilege and honor put together by God that no man, woman, or demonic force can separate.

My queen, I have enjoyed writing you once more. I love reading the thoughts of your mind. I am excited to hear back from you this coming week. I pray nothing but success your way, that God strengthens you in your weakness, and that your current struggles and obstacles will only aid you on your journey towards becoming everything God created you to be!

Unconditional Love,

Your Future Husband
