Welcome to Part 21 of the series "Dear Future Spouse." These are real people who are writing to their future King and Queen. They do not personally know each other, but they are getting to know each other through the letters. Each week, you will find a response to the letter before. So, grab some coffee, tea, or tissue, and enjoy! Tell us what you think!
Dear Future Husband,
Thank you for your words of encouragement. They truly warmed my heart to read. As for your questions from last week:
-What makes me feel most loved?
I feel most loved when I feel like I’m heard. Not just by taking out the trash the first time I ask, but when you’re struggling with something and actually try to implement some of the suggestions I help you come up with. To me, it not only shows that you listen, but that you also care.
-What are my favorite ways to show physical affection (holding hands, cuddling, back and/or booty rubs, hugging, etc.)?
I am definitely a cuddler. I love being in my loved ones bubble. I still have pictures of me from recent years sitting in my grandmother’s lap. It’s just a different level of intimacy and closeness to lay next to each other talking or watching the latest Netflix sensation.
-What would be my ideal romantic date outside of the house (place, ambiance, attire, food, city or country, etc.)?
I love food so trying a new restaurant or going back to our personal favorite for the 100th time brings me much joy. I also cook most of my meals, so dining dates are a welcomed break for me. My love of food is to the point where I save Facebook videos of different restaurants, so I can plan trips to those destinations in the future.
-What is something(s) in a relationship that I have always wanted to do but have yet to do?
This isn’t necessarily a relationship “goal,” but I saw fun date idea suggestions and said I’d love to do it one day: go to the airport with just a carry-on and book the next available fly with no particular destination in mind. It would certainly make for a weekend of memories and a lifetime of stories.
Some questions for you:
– What would be your “perfect” day?
– If you could turn any competition tv show into a date for us, which show and why?
– What did your last relationship teach you about love?
– What would your ideal non-house date be?
I hope this week is treating you well, and if you’re a football fan, the preseason is looking hopeful for your team.
Until next time,
Your Future Wife
