Dear Future Wife,
It’s amazing how God brings things in life together. I woke up this morning, and it was strongly on my heart to be a blessing to someone today. Fast forward, after leaving from reading at Barnes and Noble, I went to this mom and pop store/cafe. While in line waiting to get my hot chocolate, God touched me to bless the individual behind me with any item of their choosing.
Now, all I can say is when I turned around I saw this beautiful queen! She was looking down slightly at her phone but seemed to be oblivious to me looking at her, which was cool because I’ve never been one to bring attention to me blessing someone who was gorgeous, soooo beautiful. I can’t lie; I was stuck for a second gazing at her beautiful. She had a divine godliness about her. She radiated love, joy, and had an angelic peace about her.
Overhearing, she ended up ordering a cinnamon roll, and as she was about to pay, the cashier told her, “That gentleman in front of you already paid for you.” I could see her face 
light up! Next, she started looking around to see if she could find me (well the gentleman who paid for her cinnamon roll). I looked away a little, but before I could fully disengage my view; she walked towards me and asked me, “Was I the gentleman who paid for her roll?” I said, “Yes, you got me lol.” She smiled and stated that she was grateful for my gesture. Oh and speaking of her smile, it was everything and again I found myself stuck gazing at her. I replied, “It was my pleasure being able to be a blessing to you.”
So after a brief conversation with her, we exchanged business cards, and I left the cafe to continue on with my day. But, I couldn’t get my encounter with her off my mind. Even though blessing her was about being obedient to what God desired of me, I felt our engagement was deeper than that. It felt as if I had known her for years…like there was this once in a lifetime connection. Now, I know this might sound crazy, but I believe I just met my future wife!
After moments of contemplating and getting my excited nerves in check, I decided to email her:
“Subject: It was Truly A Pleasure
Ms. Deb,
It was truly a pleasure meeting you today at the café. When I got up this morning, I didn’t think I would meet someone who would be in my thoughts all day, however God’s Plan is greater than man’s. I hope you don’t think this is too forward; our brief encounter made me feel like I was reconnecting with an old friend that I haven’t seen in many years. If it’s alright with you, I would like to give you a call this evening.
Love Always”
I know by now the truth has been revealed. It’s amazing, yet overwhelming that I have spent all of this time writing to my future over these several months, and I have now witnessed you in the physical. Yes, I am the gentleman you met at the café earlier today! Yes, I am your Dear Future Husband.
