For Her… Part 5

Welcome to Part 5 of the series "Dear Future Spouse." These are real people who are writing to their future King and Queen. They do not personally know each other, but they are getting to know each other through the letters. Each week, you will find a response to the letter before. So, grab some coffee, tea, or tissue, and enjoy! Tell us what you think!

Dear Future Wife,

I must say your letter was right on time. There have been so many things going on. The only thing that has saved me is the thought of one day seeing you. There is not a hour that goes by that I don’t think about how my life is blessed because of you. You are my pride and joy. You are my heartbeat. And you are my smile. It is because of you that I can do all things.

I do realize there is a process we both must go through in order to obtain what we are working so hard to get. There are a lot of things you must learn about me, and there are a lot of things I must learn about you. Is it scary? Yes, it is. Do I think about the what ifs? Yes, I do. Do I have my doubts? Occasionally…yes. But the Bible says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” Even though, I can’t see how this will work, I know it will. I may not know when it will work, but I do know God has everything already figured out. So during this process, let’s exercise faith.

Your understanding and concept of God’s word is AMAZING! We were all created in His image, but I believe God spent just a little extra time on you. And your beauty is evident of how He hand-picked you just for me. You are so much better than my dream girl times two! I know we are living on borrowed time while on this Earth. One day, you will have to return to your heavenly duties. But while I have you now, I promise to love you with all my heart, mind, soul, and body.

It is my prayer that God gives you the strength to keep being the woman I need you to be. You are my rib. I don’t need you behind me or in front of me; I need you beside me. And if that’s not too hard to do, you will have no regrets.

Until next time, think of me as much as I think of you…….

Love always,

Your Future Husband
