Welcome to Part 6 of the series "Dear Future Spouse." These are real people who are writing to their future King and Queen. They do not personally know each other, but they are getting to know each other through the letters. Each week, you will find a response to the letter before. So, grab some coffee, tea, or tissue, and enjoy! Tell us what you think!
Dear Future Husband,
I’ve always been curious to know what fears men have about marriage. We can read the dating and self help books but sometimes that feels like such a generalization. Your last letter stated that you have some fears as you prepare yourself for marriage: what are they? When I was younger and dating I ALWAYS hated the getting to know you stage in a relationship. It bored me having to answer the “what’s your favorite color” question. Somehow with you, I’m intrigued to know those things but also your thoughts on joint or separate bank accounts. I stumbled upon this really great questions game that I bought and said I would use once I start dating again. I think we will enjoy answering some of the questions in our future letters.
I’ve had a rough few days, and I apologize for the brevity of this letter, but please know you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are happy and healthy.
Your future wife,
Deb
