Welcome to Part 7 of the series "Dear Future Spouse." These are real people who are writing to their future King and Queen. They do not personally know each other, but they are getting to know each other through the letters. Each week, you will find a response to the letter before. So, grab some coffee, tea, or tissue, and enjoy! Tell us what you think!
Dear Future Wife,
I hope this letter finds you in great spirits. It is always a pleasure to write the most beautiful person in the world to me. I find myself everyday thinking about how the best day of my life will be when I finally see you. Until then, all I do is work hard and prepare myself for you. When I say prepare myself, that means I am allowing God to use me, mold me, reshape me, and recreate me for marriage. Taking your hand will be a new experience. I have had love before, and I have made some horrible mistakes. But if I take the right preparation, those mistakes will not be made. I know “happily ever after” is so cliché but with you, I really feel we have a chance to make it work.
Getting to know someone can be very hard. To me, I love the process. I am a very hands-on person; I understand our letters only give us a glimpse into our souls, but it’s also a starting point that gives us the fuel we need to carry out this journey. As far as my fears, those will eventually go away the closer I get to you. There are some things in my past that I am not happy with, but I promise to always be real with you and to always tell the truth no matter what.
Not only has these few days been rough, it’s been a crazy month as well. God has been blessing me tremendously, but the enemy is fighting me all at the same time. I will keep my faith and stand strong on the Word of God. I will also continue to think of you whenever I need strength. Thoughts of you keep me balance in this crazy world. So, thank you for who are and who you will be. Keep being the great woman that the world needs to see.
Love Always,
Your Future Husband
